How to stop PC's from asking for account info from other PC's in same Windows workgroup?

I've tried messing with all the settings I can find, but I can't get my networked computers to share nicely!

All my machines are part of the same network, same workgroup, but they always ask the other machines for a account name and password when trying to access their shares. Since the machines are running Windows 2000 & XP, is there a way around is? Or is the only way to copy account from one machine to another?

how do you make it so that the network ask for the account and password when trying to use the share files? i really want to do this long time ago but didnt know how.
