How to stop neighbor's cat from vandalizing my car

Baked

Lifer
So I park in a shared car port with 2 of my neighbors. There are 6 spaces, 3 columns, 2 rows. My neighbor's cat, or some godless sons of bitches have been vandalizing my car with yellowish/orange liquid that doesn't come off unless I use scrubbing sponge.

I know it's my neighbor's cat 'cause my car is covered from hood to trunk with cat paw prints. COVERED.

I was thinking about buying a car cover, but I don't have the budget to do that at the moment. I don't want to harm the creature that's vandalizing my car. But this has to stop. The other 4 cars in the car port are perfectly fine.

hot sauce

it will get it on it's paws, lick then never again. Before the animal lovers cry foul, the VET tole me to do this when my cat was chewing lamp cords.

Hot sauce huh? So I just sprinkle it on the roof of the car and wait? Good thing my car's roof's all glass.

Time for some cats to mysteriously disappear. It is the only method I have found effective. Just make sure you tell no one. Just make it happen. Cat owners are the worst. They think their cat has the right to climb all over your car and piss in your bushes. Talking to them is of no use. Make sure you don't or they will suspect you when their cat disappears.

The most humane method is live trap, remove collar, then drop off at the animal shelter a few towns away.

I was told to apply lightly with a paper towel/rag. all you need is a thin film. Not sure what that would do to your paint, but if there's a certain spot like on the windows, etc you could try there first. It usually only takes one time of them getting into it to alleviate the problem.

Should I go sweet and spicy sauce, or ghost chili extract? I will give it a go after I get my car washed tomorrow.

And no, I'm not kidnapping my neighbor's cat, there are cameras on premise.

That is what sucks about living in apartments and condos. You are basically forced into being treated like crap where you live. I have always lived in houses and have always taken care of this situation in complete anonymity. It sucks you have to further mess up your car putting repellents on it because a cat owner is an irresponsible douche.

What do you mean, "your car"? As long as it's parked there it belongs to the cat! (just as I now seem to own only 4 square inches of my mousepad in an inverted "L" shape -- the rest being taken up by kitty butt.)

The cat will just claw the cover. Put some cat food in your engine bay between the belts. Wait for the lil bastard to find it, then start your car.

Problem solved.

I am firmly against animal cruelty so make sure you use a hollow point of big bore caliber to ensure an instantaneous kill.

Seriously, have you tried talking to the cats owner?

get two sided tape and put it on something like cardboard
place on car where animal always go
?????
profit

Try telling your neighbor to keep the cat inside or you are in your rights to use a live trap and deposit said cat at a vet to be adopted by a family that will care for it.

I don't know who the owner of the cat is. I'm going to taco bell tonight and will get lots of fire sauce.

Gonna be weird when my employees ask me why my car smells like hot sauce when we go on a road trip at the end of the week...

To the mechanic: "My cars making a weird noise when I try and start it. Kind of a "MEEEEOW-OW-OW-OW!" sound."
