How to stop junk mail?

I have a tiny mailbox and sometimes when I am gone for a while the mailbox jams up. If I go on a week vacation, there will not be any room in my mailbox. How do I stop this junkmail? I do not want to miss my bills because they could not fit in my mailbox.

Snail mail? Tell the Post Office that you are going on vacation. They will hold it.

Cool but is there anyway to stop this junkmail? I cannot stand it and personally boycott any company that sends me junkmail. I am sick and tired of having to go through each piece of junkmail to make sure bills are not stuck in between the pages.

I just throw away all my mail, the people who really want money will start calling when it gets important.

Actually that kind of junk mail is not bad because it is small. I am talking about the giant flyers and newspaper type inserts that really clog up a mailbox.
