How to stop 30% stale shares

I have two mining rigs, #1 with six 5700XT's and they have a stale share rate of 0.15%. Rig #2 has two 5600Xt's and two 6700Xt's producing a stale share rate of 30%. Using windows 10 on both rigs. Hard wired to the ethernet (no WiFi). Switched ethernet cables between the rigs did not make any difference in stale share rates. Updated software for AMD with no change in results. Ping values are at 44 plus or minus 3 for US1, US2, EU1 or EU2. Updated software to PhoenixMiner_5.6d_Windows from 5.4c, no changes in stale shares.

What can I do to get the stale shares down to acceptable levels? Why is rig #1 working fine and rig #2 have such high stale share rates? Any guidance/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If I had to guess, I would check and lower your memory OC, on either the 5600XTs or the 6700XTs (have to narrow down which).

Memory OC (I'm kinda new to all this) means Memory overclocking, correct? I looked everywhere for this and am not able to locate it. Is memory OC the same as VRAM OC? If it is, the VRAM OC is set to the minimum levels on all four GPU's. From what I have learned from watching videos and on the internet, VRAM OC does not effect stale shares, it does effect incorrect or rejected shares. I don't have any incorrect or rejected shares, only stale shares. Please let me know if I am incorrect in my comments.

Hard to say for sure what the issue is, but perhaps so that someone could offer help, could you let us know what driver version, what OS, what pool, and what settings on the miner?

The only way is to get rid of the bad karma that the gamers have been directing your way! You must seek out gamers and sell them your gpus for your cost.

I am using Windows 10.
AMD Radeon driver version is 21.8.1
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool us2.ethermine.org:4444 -wal xxxxxxxxxxxx -worker asus1 -epsw x -mode 1 -log 0 -mport 0 -etha 0 -ftime 55 -retrydelay 1 -tt 79 -tstop 89 -coin eth pause

The first screenshot shows the number (76) and percent (40.79%) stale shares. This is with only one GPU running for 2 hours and 40 minutes, an AMD 5600XT. I removed the other three GPU's to see if I can narrow things down, but nothing changed.

The second screenshot shows the GPU information, how I have it set up.

Ping test to the miner site shows 44. Doing a speed test to the nearest host shows a ping of 12, upload speed of 370 and a download speed of 370.

Any help, suggestions as to reducing the stale share rate would be greatly appreciated.

Try going back to the latest AMD driver officially supported by PM 5.6d. I think it is 21.5.1

Edit: here is a link to the PM thread with information. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.0
Looks like an update to 5.7b JUST happened as I was typing this.

Hey Shmee, it worked!! Going back to the AMD driver 20.5.1 worked. Looking at your suggestion above you said 21.5.1, saw 20.5.1 and downloaded it. Any reason to try 21.5.1 now that it is working with no stale shares showing?

Thank you for your help! Never would have thought about going back to earlier versions.
Thanks again!!

Unless you are also gaming on that computer, no need to update the driver IMO. But as I edited my post to include, PM 5.7b just came out which says it supports the latest drivers again, up to 21.8.1.
