Hi,

I am quite a newbie within FreeBSD.

Still, I thought that starting Xfree86 works by typing 'startx'.
But, it doesn't work, darnit.

Anyone?

No different there then anywhere else. startx.

Do you get any errors when attempting to startx?

No, it doesn't do anything, so I am now even thinking that is might not be installed ...

I am looking in the 'handbook' now.
Let's hope I can get XFree86 installed.

It doesn't install by default. Just do the ports thang. Gotta love FreeBSD for that one. Well, that and make world. :)
