How to shave

::snort:: I'm sorry, but if you don't know how to shave, you're a moron. 😉

1. Grab razor
2. Find hair on face or body
3. Run razor across hair
4. Watch skin appear

Rinse, repeat.

Speaking of, can you recommend me a good beard trimmer. Preferably less than 80 dollars. I was looking into the one that has 3 circular blades but that only gives a good clean shave and no way to actually trim right? Someone enlighten me on this subject, I've been using disposables for years.
😱

And now for the $10,000 question: With the grain, or against the grain?

With a good razor - against. Much closer shave that way. I've had a beard for a while, and just shaved it. It really is a pain shaving every day again.

BTW - that guy shaves WAY too much of his face.

My facial hair is REALLY thick, so before I got a Norelco electric, I could only shave against the grain when I was using a Mach 3 - anything else would cut me and make the whole process really painful.

I usually have a five o'clock shadow about two hours after shaving. 🙂 :frown:

1. Get a nice new Mach 3 and proceed to shave incorrectly by shaving with the blade sideways.
2. Proceed to cut up your face...balls too if your into that.
3. Get to know the pain. BE the pain. Become the incision.
4. Wipe off blood.
5. Vow on your childhood toy that you will never do it again.

You forgot add to try and stop the bleeding by using one of those little shaving sticks. Putting those on a cut the first time adds to the pain...

That guy should really add a page about stopping the bleeding.

u know that Venus razor for women...
it works great and its gentle for your groin areas...
i tried it out on my virgin shave and it worked great

I follow Homer Simpsons guide to shaving.. and apply tiny squares of tissue paper to any place thats bleeding then apply after shave.

My problem is that if I cut myself, it's usually pretty good and a little toliet paper doesn't help. I end up with gobs of toliet paper full of blood, and looks like I tried to clean up after cutting up a full size german shepard.

That's great.... :disgust:

And WTF were you doing with a Venus razor? Was it your mom's?

If I don't shave against the grain after first shaving with it leaves way too much behind. Well, you can't really see the hair, but you can feel it. I want it to be perfectly smooth or not at all. I use the Mach 3 as well.

Heh. I will say that the one and only time I did this (back in high school, was curious) made me ITCH like a mofo. Not to mention getting stabbed by regrowing stubble sucks.

That guy needs to focus on brushing his teeth more often, shaving should not be his first priority. Take care of unibrow too 😉

I shave with the grain first, then re-lather and shave against it. Super close shave, and my skin stays happy! 😀
