What equipment and software will I need to setup video conferencing over a small home office LAN?

Running W2k on one PC as a fileserver and XP on five other PCs. Wireless networking using Microsoft wireless router/access point for the "client" PCs, fileserver connected to router via ethernet.

Will a standard webcam for each PC work or will I need different gear? Thanks in advance!

A standard webcam for each PC, plus some VC software like NetMeeting or at least one that let's you connect to the other PCs in the LAN by typing either the IP address or machine name.

Hint: NetMeeting is hidden in XP, simply go to "Run" and type "conf" without quotes.

Hope this helps!

Out of curioisty, how come you are setting up video conferencing inside your LAN in a SOHO setup? Is your house that big?
