How to setup two sets of speakers to a Live X-Gamer and not use them for EAX?

Here is my problem, I just bought a X-Gamer to replace my MX300 so I can use it on my Abit KT7 Raid. In my previous setup I had both outputs in use with a headset and a set of speakers, both with the same sound. The only way I can do this with the X-Gamer is if I turn on 4 speaker mode. If I use a game that uses EAX, it is going to split up the sound between the headset and speakers, not equally.

Is there no way to set it up where the same sound comes out of both outputs at the same time at all times?

Thanks,
Joe

btw: Is the front speaker jack on the sound card amplified? If I plus my speakers into it, I get a hiss. This doesn't happen in the rear speaker jack.

Get a 1-to-2 plug, then plug both sets of speakers into that, then plug it into front (line-out).

It shouldn't be amplified.

What games are you playing? Most games you can select EAX on or off. On then gives surround Sound off gives you 4 speakers no surround. Half Life and Unreal T are this way.
