Ok, i just got my new machine and i'm giving the old one to my parents. They want to have cable on it so i figured i'd just hook them up and use the same connection for both machines. Problem is, i have no idea how to do it :) Any good guides out there?

P.S. Both machines use XP

Get a network kit, install a card on each machine, connect it to a hub, connect the cable to the hub and voila.

Yes, practicallynetworked.com will set you straight..but there are issues. Cable...ok. Ethernet? Wired or wireless? Punching holes in walls is acceptable? Router, hub, or less? Expandability? Cost?

Many issues. Little time.

Good luck.. :)
