Hello,

I am wondering if what I am trying to archive is at all possible, currently I have:

- Samsung 46" LCD
- Onxyo
- PC

What I am trying to do is, use my 2x DVI LCDs, and sometimes I want to add my TV instead of one of the LCDs, and push audio/video to it, through the surround.

If my HDMI cable coming out of my GFX into my Samsung TV, I can see it no problem and I can push audio/video to it over a single HDMI cable.

However, If I try to plug the HDMI to my receiver then to the TV.. I don't get anything.

Is it not possible to add an Onxyo receiver into the picture?

Or would I need to run a SPDIF cable from motherboard to receiver, and HDMI cable from the GFX to Samsung TV (would this even work?).

Onxyo HT-S7100
Samsung Series 6-630
PC: AMD Radeon 6870, eVGA Classified x58 Motherboard.

Hope someone has insight into this, thank you for your time.

Sounds like your receiver is having issues with HDCP. You should be able to run the HDMI into the receiver like any other devices (Xbox, PS3, Blu-ray, cable box).
