how to sell a car when I have a loan out on it? -- lien

I took out a small loan (4,000) for my Jetta.

Now I want to sell it, is there anything special I need to do when I sell it when it is on a loan? Like repay the loan 100% then transfer the title? Or do I not have to pay the loan and just keep paying my monthly 200$?

You will have to pay off the lien to be able to transfer title, you can't just keep paying the loan

I guess my main question...do I have to repay the loan in full to transfer the title? Or can I keep the money and still make those small monthly payments?
