I like the basic BBQ on the spicy chicken. Now if you get the basic chicken or the nuggets...the Honey Mustard BBQ = OMMNOMMNOMM. Oh and the breakfast there is great...the mini chicken biscuits and fried potatoes = hangover gold.

This is good info. I'll check out breakfast next week. In the appropriate state.

Do you guys use any of the CFA sauce? If so for what?

I use it lately to dip fries in. Either that or get the honey roast BBQ sauce in the packets.

CFA may not be mind blowing but I've never had a bad meal there, it's decent food for the money, and the place is always clean.

Oh yeah, I'm rarely there for breakfast, but the mini chicken biscuits were pretty great. Did not like the full sized one as much.

I swear that those Chalupa shells are made of crack ground up unicorns. SO DELICIOUS. And for $2.50 the quesarito is amazing.

i freakin looooooooooove taco bell. haven't had a chalupa in a while though. since i'm all alone by myself tonight maybe that will be dinner. :D

Those things are gross BTW. Even fresh White Castle is gross. I think the only reason they stay in business is drunk people.

lol. true. when i was younger, we used to drive to WC after drinking and grab a sack or two. those burgers really soaked up the alcohol well but the next morning you're going to pay dearly for it at the toilet. :(

What's hurting McDonald's? Subway.

Subway's Jared ads back in the early aughts were nothing short of brilliant. It positioned them as being the fresh and healthy option, right when McDick's was being attacked for the obesity epidemic and questionable food quality. Now Subway is the largest restaurant chain in the world.
This is simply not true.

Everyone's got a different answer as to why McD is going down the shitter, and the reason is likely dependent on how much money you usually spend at McD. I can tell you for sure the filipino seniors at my local McD do NOT want McD to go fancy - they want their cheap coffee and cheap breakfast and somewhere to loiter for a few hours in the morning.

People with some means go to McD cuz there are a million of them and they're fast/convenient, but likely want McD to "step up their game".

They should offer low carb buns and english muffins. The last time I went there I did notice the breakfast seems a little too expensive for what it is. Sausage McMuffin combo meal was like $6. The sandwich by itself is like $3. It should be cheaper.

I had this custom 1/3 lb burger last week at McDonald's. You design it and they deliver it your table.

Haven't seen that before. I wonder if they are test marketing the concept?

But why build it behind the counter? Why not just make a great patty on a great bun and have a great toppings station to go with it?

I don't think the McDs around here have that pricing. It isn't posted, although to be fair I just do the drive in and never go inside.

It's like the #7 combo in the morning. Look for the sandwich only price.

They're testing the concept. You order at a separate touch screen kiosk and build your custom burger the way you want it and pay for it there. Then you go to the counter and pickup your drink cup and a buzzer and sit anywhere you want. Employee will bring the food to your table. They're offering free drink and fries promotion with the burger purchase so it's only like $5 for the meal. I've had it 3 times already and haven't been disappointed yet.

$15 minumum wage well spent.
