I like how it looks - but it looks like that for a reason.

I would ike to see the specs, but if true, it would be quite amazing. That car would be more planted than a ZR1 while having a .cd of only about .24(IIRC the ZR1 has a .cd of .30-.32) which is better than any car on the market right now.

Increase...I just meant it as better. It's easier than typing decrease in drag and increase in down force.

but saying an increase in drag is better is fundamentally wrong 😛

many cars are in the .25-.29 range.

I actually like it. It looks different from other cars and it certainly is not ugly. I think it's not a normal design.

Undoubtedly of course they are. The Prius is .25, LS460 is .26, New Insight is .28, S series is .26 or .27, but sports cars that do high speeds ALWAYS have MUCH higher .CDs. The Veyron for example is .377 IIRC, F1 cars are somewhere in the .7+ range because downforce is usually is followed by drag.

Its easy to smooth out the shape and have a low CD if you are happy with nominal amounts of lift. It's easy to add a spoiler on the front and back and add downforce but it is extremely difficult to add downforce while reducing drag. What hat design did is make it more slippery than a 2010 Prius while making it have significantly more grip than a Corvette ZR1 (which normally has something like 200-300lbs of downforce IIRC)
