How to rip just one scene from a dvd?

I need to include a clip from a dvd for a slide show presenation that I'm doing - how do I just rip one scene to mpeg2 format?

I think you have to rip it all, then use a video editor to isolate that scene.

dvd rip program I have has a scene-by-scene rip funtcion.

Well, I've never ripped a DVD so I was just guessing.

i think flaskmpeg lets you specify the frames #'s you want to rip
