how to rid of comet cursor!

I get automatic download and installation of this useless utility sometimes without permission to load on my computer.

Is there a way to never receive this?

The only thing I've heard about "Comet Cursor" was that it was attached to Real Player. It is a privacy invader. I had it and got rid of it, successfully, about six months ago. Go into control panel, add/remove programs and see if it is listed. If it is, highlight it and click add/remove and it will be gone.
