how to reveal document that is saved on floppy

hi, just lost the disc... i 've saved the document onto the floppy...

i want to see if i can find it in my Harddrive anymore... and where?
 
I dont understand what you are trying to do...

So you saved your documents onto a floppy and now the floppy is bad??? Or is it the other way around???
 
the only way i store the document is on the floppy... now the floppy is lost... can i somehow find it in my computer again..
 
if you haven't used that same program since you saved the file to floppy, and depending on which program you were using, . . . you may find it in the temp files.
 
yeah temp files may help you....check all the ones about the same size. You may have to rename them to the same extension to make sure.

Good luck, I had a friend pull the same thing....floppy only. Luckily she had the floppy still and it was only a matter of her own drive was bad and was able to suck it back up to her hard drive to be re-saved on a good floppy drive.

Funny how floppy is still the name that's used when they died out over 10 years ago 🙂
