How to resize photos to print?

Is there an easy way to resize a bunch (over a hundred) of photos to scale to page for printing? Either with a utility or in Photoshop?

Paint Shop Pro 9 has a feature that allows you to see it in reference to the page and change the size before printing.

🙂

For Photoshop, it's easy once you get the Actions recorded... like a macro.

1) Open a single pic

2) Record new action
3) Resize (assuming all are landscape or all are portrait) - otherwise make a new action for the other
4) Save (for web if so desired) to desired folder
5) Close picture
6) Stop recording action

7) Now just open all pics in Photoshop (not too many at a time because of potential RAM issues)
8) Play recorded action for each pic (just keep hitting play since it will close any pics it resized)
9) Done

I don't know how Irfanview works for batch resizing (while retaining good enough quality for print) so that's why I wrote that out...

Does this work in 5.0?

Better yet, use Photoshop's batch function to run the action on the pics. Located under file\automate\batch.
