How to reset to factory defaults

Is there a easy way to reset the macbook pro to factory settings. It is running Lion and that was what it came with, I dont have any software CD to run a restore from.

Turn it off, then turn it back on and press command+R. It will let you do a wipe and reinstall from the utilities.

Did command-R, ran diskutility and erased the macintosh HD. Then installed Lion from internet recovery. It restarted and is on the select language screen. Is it now clear of my personal data, can I give it to others safely now?

Yes. Unless you're REALLY paranoid.

You can do a secure wipe from the disk utility if you were really paranoid.
