How to reply a msg that's over 45 days old?

I tried to reply a message that's over 45 days old but everytime i click the reply, I was brought to the forum homepage.
 
You can't, they are archived. The closest you could come might be to start a new thread w/same title and link to the archived thread in your first post, along with your reply.
