How to remove North bridge hsf on msi neo2?

Hi, long time lurker here. The fan died on my MSI Neo2 Platium. I bought a new HSF, but I can remove the old hsf. Theres two black spring loaded clips. How do I get this thing off? Thanks

Squeeze the ends of the clips with needle nosed pliers and push them through the board. After that, you should be able to twist the heatsink off.

When you say squeeze the clips, do you mean from the bottom of the board?
