How to Remove "Color Trail" in IE?

Hi. If I want to remove the fact that I have clicked on a certain link in IE, how would I do that? (you know, the link is now a different shade) ... I've tried clearing the history: that didn't work.

P.S. - I don't want to eliminate this forever, just a one time thing.

Go to Tools>Internet Options You should see a button labeled Colors at the bottom. Click it and you should be able to change the color of visited/unvisited links.

Clearing the history should work. I don't know why it didn't.

You'll need to delete both your history and offline/temp files.
