Pleaase help!!!

is there anyway that i can remove bad sector in a hard drive?? It is just a few clusters.

How to do a low level format??

If it's not bugging you horribly and it's not causing your hard drive to die, then just run Scandisk.

A low-level format will record bad sectors and avoid them (I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong). You can do a low-level format in BIOS.

Why would you want to do that?

Right now there's something phisicaly wrong with your HD and removing the bad block by wiping it will not magicaly repair your HD.

Better to leave it as is because if you dont & remove them when you write to them again later it will corrupt your data.

If the HD is still under Warranty it is better to just RMA it.
