How to reinsatall Windows Media Player

I'm sorry.It's XP Professional,WMP-9.I have dial-up connection,so it's very dificult to download anything larger than 3-4Mb.
Is it possible to do something with XP pro installation disc?

The Windows XP Pro disc comes with WMP8. A Windows XP Pro disc with SP2 slipstreamed has WMP9.. Though I do not think there is anyway to install WMP9 from the CD.

Downloading the 11.5meg install of WMP shouldnt be that difficult on dial up.. start the download and go have a beer?

It seems that downloading WMP is mission impossibile for me.
Installation pack is 9,7Mb I should wait for 2 hours to finish process,it's too much beer I need, isn't it?
I'll try with refreshing Windows, what do u think about it?

Don't you have a friend that has broadband? If so, have him or her download it and put it on a flash media device for you, then go from there.

go to add/remove programs

then go to add/removel widows components

i think WMP is in their for ya

edit: its in their just checked
