I have a friend who apparently kept the main copies of everything she was working on the universities shared drive (dumb, I know...).
Anyway, someone deleted the folder and since computing is not allowing access to the server I've been trying to find some data recovery software that can see the shared drive. Haven't had much luck. Shareware would be nice, be more than happy to pay as long as there was a chance of snagging the files. It's a small college, so maybe they're still hanging around.
Any suggestions? I don't have a lot of details on the nature of the shared drive (everyone has complete access to everything on it) - never use it myself, but I could find out some more if that's necessary. I appreciate it - she will too.
