How to re-enable control+enter shortcut in IE?

I am badly used to the IE shortcut of completing web addresses in the address bar. I type google and press "control+enter" and the www and .com are added automatically.

For some reason, this is no longer working. any idea how I can enable this shortcut.
 
try going into options and turning off search from address bar.

btw, you should get opera or firefox (for many other reasons). you can omit the www.com and it works!
