...I coulda done that last Friday, but decided to just print my very low-key resignation letter and hand it in. Five years of baggage. Oh, so much shit I'd like to vent.

Doesn't look like anchor in OP cares about a future career in broadcasting, so meh.

"Now everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska.

"And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f**k it, I quit."

It was still epic!! How many of us would of had the balls on Television to stand up and say what she said?? Damn she must have a huge brass pair of balls!!

Likely just a matter of knowing it was over.

“And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f**k it, I quit.”

She must have been on the chopping block for that issue and would have been shit-canned when she got off the air. It doesn't take balls for a "you can't fire me, I quit" moment, millions of people have done it before her.

The politics is the station was avoiding the medical marijuana campaign. She never told them she was behind it. Once she gave up and succeeded to become a provider she knew they'd have to now fire her.

I think marijuana should be legal (I don't use it). I think the police should be able to test for it too.

Too many potheads think it doesn't affect them so just smoke out while working and blame their mistakes on machinery.
