It's a classic. All those games asking "Are you sure you want to quit?". It dates back to the 8-Bit era, but it really went on in the 16-Bit era. It was, and still is today faster to quit simply by turning the Console off. If on PC Ctrl+Alt+Del should usually do it (or the Windows key).

Freakin classic. I'm glad it wasn't just me. Assassin's Creed is pretty darn good (at least as good as console ports go these days), but I thought I was missing something, because I could NOT for the LIFE OF ME figure out how to quit the farkin game. Alt + F4 works fine (which is how I resorted to doing it), but it can (and did) corrupt the profile.

Yeah, I tried figuring it out too when I first started playing and eventually just resorted to the Alt-F4 whihc worked just fine

haha yeah. I wonder how much extra programing it would have taken to add an "Exit to Windows", option from the first screen. What a joke.

ya it's a fun 20 screens to go through to quit lol.
