I am using a Powerman 300 watt power supply in my AMD system. Its very loud. Any way to quiet it down? It uses a single 3" fan(ball bearing) inside...

I noticed my older powerman powersupply(235 watt) has "noise killer" written on it(it was quiet).. whats this? The only real difference I can see it that is uses a 4" fan.

The Powerman is a sparkle. They ARE loud. I have one too. The best way
is to get a more silent one like the Channel Well 300W. I have ordered
one and will get it next week. I think this will be the way to go..

I have an INWINQ500N with the Powerman. Swapped the fan for a Panaflo L1A. Made a big difference in noise.

Where can I get the panaflow l1a? You are using the 300watt powerman with the 3" fan, right? Thanks!

search for "TEAMAWE"( don't know how to post a link ) he has them. yes powerman with 3"/80mm fan.
Also cut out the grill/holes in the case shelf under the PS and cut out every other piece of the grills in the PS case itself.
