how to pronounce winRAR?

do you pronounce each letter individually like initials (ex: amd) or as a single word. If as a word, is the "a" like the "a" in hat or like far?

Not really, but I do say RAR, similar to FAR

The original RAR stood for Russian ARchiver so I pronounce it like 'far'. Of course, that's really dependent on how you pronounce "archiver" but 99.9% of the population does it one way.
