How to prohibit internet use at certain times?

Hey guys, I am looking for an efficient way to prohibit internet at certain times of the day. I understand that in Windows there are options to block applications but I want a program that can block the internet at specific times. Does Windows allow this option? I guess I have to look at it.

I would appreciate any responses.

I don't know what your environment is like.

But, in general, I suspect that it would be easier to block access at the router rather than at the individual workstation.

This is for a home setting where I need to restrict internet access at certain times.

Thanks.

At the router, it will depend on the specific make and model that you use.

The image above is from Cisco/Linksys documentation.

Checking the documentation that came with your router will likely provide some insight concerning whether or not your specific router can do something similar.

Best of luck,

Just QOS down to 5KB/s. This way the internet "works" and you can blame it on something else from prying little eyes. Hilarity ensues.
