Can't you scale the page to fit (if page is too big) and/or print only selected frames (if viewing a page with frames)?

Or if that doesn't work, you can probably just cut and paste the text.

the fit to page doesnt do it

im looking not to cut and paste to a word processing prg

other people must have this prb as well

does everyone just ignore the fact that the right gets cut off

it isnt just my printer since this has occured with every printer i have ever used, i never really cared before

With text displaying in browser window in IE, I highlight the portion
of the text I want to print, leave the block of text highlighted and
choose "print" from the IE file menu at the top of the screen. After
the print window pops up, I choose "selection" from the section where
you can tell it to print all pages, from page x to y, or to print
the "selection" (meaning the highlighted block).

It happened a couple of times for me. But, I don't always print web pages unless absolutely necessary. An awesome utility that helps you condense multiple pages into one would be FinePrint. Check it out...

Since you kinda have to purchase it, *grin* you can try to change the IE printing margins.
File > Page Setup...
Change the margins to whatever your printer will support. I set mine to 0.3" on the sides and 0.5" off the top and bottom.

But, I do always highlight what I want to print and print the selection only.
