Something would have to be worked out, to allow the Secret Service to provide him some protection in the yard. Unless they were stripped of all presidential privileges. I suppose the process might be no different than him revoking citizenship a certain immigrants.

Then it would be perfectly appropriate, for him to end up as someone's prison wife.

That's why I suggested house arrest. Trump's penthouse is perfect. Reprogram the elevator so that he can't call it. Make it stop on the floor below so that it can only go higher or lower if sent from there. The SS & NY state prison guards can amuse themselves playing cards & etc on that floor. Alarms on the fire escape. Telephone land line only (no twitter). No internet. TV. Defined visiting hours. Conjugal visits for Melania. Maybe golf furloughs a few times a year. Enclose the balconies so he can't jump when it drives him nuts.

Trump will never land in prison. His worst case scenario is being found guilty in State court & held under house arrest in his penthouse atop Trump tower. After his term as President ends, one way or another. He might be stripped of some assets, as well.

It's entirely possible that other as yet un-named members of the crew will be indicted and/or forced to roll over to keep their hides attached.

If Cuomo doesn't interfere then Underwood (who doesn't GAF if Trump is the President or an ax murderer) will see that criminal actions will result in criminal penalties, up to and including prison. If you think our AG's will show deference to Trump regardless of past office you don't know us and them very well.

What should happen is that the AG's office pursue the crime independently, but Cuomo is Trumpier than Trump. Much of our government IS Cuomo. If this guy appears on a national ballot you don't want him.

Somebody needs to be made an example. If Nixon had gone to jail we would have less shenanigans today.

The rich and powerful NEVER suffer consequences and we are about to repeat the same mistake AGAIN?? WTF!

We don't just want to jail political opposition but when crimes are committed the bar for them needs to be higher.
