I dont know what thread it was, but i posted a winamp plugin which played Real audio files, that was pretty useful...

It works if you install it correctly. Follow the directions carefully and make sure you're in the right OS.

Another alternative is kazaalite.tk's Real Alternative 1.0 haven't dled it yet, but I'm planning to. I don't know if this is merely a hack of real player or a legitamite app, but it's there nonetheless.

Update: Turns out, it is basically the same thing as amnesiac's hack. The only difference is that it is comes with a plugin for Mozilla/Opera to embed in the browser (since it is Media Player Classic, it probably runs fine already in ie).
