how to play a win95 game under winxp ?

hello,

this is about the game "burn: cycle":
some years ago, i played it on my win95 system, and for some time now, i would like to play it again, but i cannot figure out how to make it work under winxp ...

- the game has no installer, it is played from cdrom
- i tried compability settings, but didn't find any that worked ("application error: general protection fault")
- i booted dos via win98 bootcd, there it didn't run either and said: "this is a windows 16-bit application"

does anybody knows a 'workaround', or something else that can be done ?
(i don't think installing win95 is an option, i triend to install win98 but could never bring it to a good end on this machine)

right click on the exe file and choose the compatability tab and choose windows 95
