Is there an ignore feature where I can't see the blocked persons posts while they can't see my posts?

Ignoring someone on your user control panel only keeps you from seeing their posts. They can still see yours.

Correct, there is no way to hide your posts from other users. So always think carefully about what you're about to post, and what consequences may arise both in the immediate future and long term.
