How to place an ad on just a single page in TypePad?

The official Typepad support page is not very supportive ($$$) and the top forum result for this in Google is down.

How can you add an image or link to the sidebar of just the homepage of TypePad? It should not show on any other pages/urls. You must be able to do it without the Advanced Plan. It needs to be for their free blogs.
