Hey, I reset my router last night because a little power surge made it go crazy, so now i need to pass port 21 to my computer again. Its a linksys router, and i remember last time i just had to enter an adress into my browser and it took me to the config page. thing is i dont remember the adrress.. anyone know?

Altho I havent used a linksys router in a long time, try 198.162.1.100

If that doesnt do it, go to start
click run
type cmd
when the command prompt comes up type:
ipconfig /all

note the IP addy of the gateway. (also your PC's IP addy as well)

gateway is the IP you need to put into your browser to get to the config page, then go to advanced settings in the router
port forward
forward tcp/ip 21
source wan
dest (whatever your LAN pc's ip addy is)

If you haven't solved the problem, then the best thing to do is to find the user manual for your router on Linksys' website. I have used Linksys stuff before and I think the IP and user/password pairs that other users have recommended are correct. However, the manual will tell you for sure.
