How to partition hd's in Windows 2000 Pro?

Been using NT 4.0 almost since it first came out and last
week I upgraded to Windows 2000 Pro.
What ever happened to Disk Administrator?
I can't find it anywhere nor anything else that would let
me touch the disks (change drive letters etc.)
I've got the OEM version, but that should not matter...

Administrative Tools \ Computer Management \ Storage:
Diskeeper

nothing else there... just Diskeeper and that's it.
?!?!?!?!?!????!?!?!?!!!?!?!?

I had major problem with Diskeeper when I upgraded W2k on top of NT,
had to uninstall old diskeeper which in turn destroyed the one that
comes with W2k and all I have now for defragmentation is the time-limited
demo I downloaded... any way to get the real thing back from the W2k CD?

DiskKeeper??? What the hell are you looking at? Go Start-> Programs -> Admin tools ->Computer management. that should bring up a window with a bunch of different things looking like folders. There should be a section called "Storage" and the first thing under that section is called Disk Management. That is what you need.

Nope...

The ONLY thing under Computer Management/Storage is Diskeeper.
There is nothing else.

Here's what I'm looking at:

Computer Management (local):
+system tools
+storage
+services and applications

under Storage:
Diskeeper

?!??!?!?!!?!
and yes, I am on an administrative account.
please tell me I am looking at a totally wrong section...
otherwise I'm a bit worried.

It sure is a 'legit' copy. I... ehm... 'borrowed' the CD from the office
and don't intend to be returning it... ever... (don't tell anyone)
they had plenty of them just lying around, but it is an OEM CD...?
Didn't want to do a clean install because I've got a plenty of
progs that need a lot of custom settings etc. Also I've checked
another system that was installed clean and there's no Disk Management
available in that system either. wtf?

I hope this isn't one of those occasions where European versions of
software simply do not have all the features. I've seen it in the past
but thought it was history.

----

I'll be damned.
I didn't notice that screen shot earlier on.
Thanks!
Now it's clear I was looking at the right place.
I simply do not have anything else there but the
Diskeeper demo I installed.
This seems to suck a bit.
Wonder if all of that stuff was removed when I uninstalled
older Diskeeper from the NT4.0 days... ?
Is that even possible?

If you don't want to clean install then just run the win2k setup again from the cd and select the repair option. It sounds as though the setup process didn't go too smoothly when you upgraded from nt4. Also, regarding the diskkeeper, you should search this forum. You'll find a full version that's not time limted.
