Well I want to paint my Motor Bike a different color as right now it is fruity yellow and the paint is chipping off due to poor quality.

What type of paint should I used to spray and sheet metal which the bike is made out of? Also I will probably need some paint for plastic as well.

Also, would painting the engine affect it in any way or is that a big no no?

Picture of the bike.

Yellow Paint needs to go!

Also, can I paint the part of the engine that is kind of rusty above the white part of the engine in front?

I am kind of new to this. Do I just get spray paint or is there something special to use? This bike also comes apart in peices so it is pretty easy to paint each part at seperate times.

you'll need to completely disassemble the bike and strip all of the paint off. a chemical stripper might be easier than a wire wheel.

Ya, it is just plain steel. Does it matter if it is like 70% alcohol or should I get the 99% stuff? I am probably going to start this tomorrow if I dont have work....

acrylic enamel, dupont centari for example. going to need to prime it first, of course.

Or tremclad it if you don't care how it looks / lasts.
