Ive just put together my new system and have everything up and running and installed. Ive done some VERY minor overclocking in the past, but seeing as though my new rig seems to be pretty capable of overclocking, im definitely looking to do my fair share now.
Here is my setup:

Asus A8R-MVP
AMD 3700+ san diego w/Arctic Cooler 64 pro
2 gb (2 x 1gb) OCZ Platinum XTC (2-3-2-5)
ATI X850XT (Free from a friend)
Fortron FSP400-GLN
Centurion 5
37 gb raptor

Like I said I am almost completely new to the overclocking game. I really just need some advice on where to start, and/or if there are any programs i need to download....as many specifics as possible will be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time to everyone for the help

ok, i think i made it sound like i had no clue about overclocking, and now after reading that guide i definitely have a much better idea about how to go about it.

The problem is that, i dont really understand some of the terminology, and how it corresponds with my a8r-mvp. If anyone is familiar with overclocking this board, I would appreciate the help. And thanks for the guide. That really helped
