How to open My Passport Essential

I tried to pray mine open per your instructions.
I guess God wasn't listening.

By the way, both of your links are the same thing.
 
I used small flat head screw driver to pry open the side. It is very difficult to slide the inner part out because the tabs on the top and bottom edge are locking tabs. What I did was I forcefully pry the top and bottom too and broken 1 tab slot. I should have taken video while I do it but it took me about 1 hour to open it. No chance to return the drive now or get warranty service if the drive were to crash later.
