how to "open" doors in RTCW?

been playing RTCW a bit and somehow lost the ability to OPEN doors, (the ENTER key used to be the default key) tried going into the settings to remap the key but nothing coresponds with OPEN.

Use item does not open any doors and under MISC i cant find anything either.

Anyone know where this is located? i basicly cant play without being able to open doors

The `USE` option is what opens doors as well as allows you to use stationary guns.

FYI...some doors wont open. they'll only open if it shows the little hand on them, default for opening doors is "f" key. I say that cause it confused me when i first started playing....

And even then sometimes they'll make a barred sound because they're locked so they still won't open. Pay attention to the audio whenever you try to open any door.
