ok really stupid questio but im not sure what the process of overclocking is.
i know the increasing the FSB malarky but do i increase this in 5Mhz intervals or what??
oh maybe my specs will help
1900XP default
256Mb 2100 DDR ram
Gigabyte 7VRXP rev 2.0 with F10 bios

my cpu/case temps are:
idle: 48/40
load: 62/40

so how do i go about it, im not wanting to unlock my CPU just yet, id just like to see how high i can get - perhaps an estimation of what setup i will get??

also how do i check the stability of the setup-3DMark, Prime95???

Might want to check into some better cooling first. Those temps are high.

yeah temps are kinda on high side..
increase 5mh intervals if u can and run those 3d mark and prime and stress it out...
see if its stable.

for me, i just try to use programs i use ..

for me starcraft is very good at telling me if the computer is stable or not.. if not stable it'll just boot me back to desktop.
have fun~
