I have the Antec SX630 case and would like advice on how
to add fan guards and filters to this case.
I can get a fanguard when it's on the side opposite
the purple fan holder, but I need to find a way to
put one on the other side since I am planning to
cut the bezel on the case with a dremel and the back
one won't allow me to put a fan guard there. I also
got a few metal mesh filters on my intake fans, but
they are currently not mounted perfectly due to the
same problem. I thought about just drilling holes to
the front of the case and just putting larger mesh
filters there. Anyone have any suggestions?
It'd be so much nicer if they just got rid of
the purple holders and put standard size mountings instead
I think.
Thanks for any advice.
I'm currently using:
Intake: 2 80mm Panaflow H1A model (39.6 cfm, 32 dBA) x 2 = 79.2 cfm
Exhaust: 1 80mm Panaflow M1A model (32.1 cfm, 28 dBA)
Enermax 365p-ve fca psu (25 cfm estimated) = 57.1 cfm
With the mesh filters up front, I figure intake is slightly more than
exhaust vs. a LOT more.
