My OS is WinXP Pro. When going to start->programs->, I get every program I have installed. How do I add folders to the program and move programs to the folders? When I used Win 98 I would Start->taskbar->advanced an then I could customize how I wanted to access the list? Thanks

Right click the start button/ Explore all users.....

Double click the programs folder, then add folders etc...

Is that what you are asking?

if you mean how to make it 'old school' then right click on the taskbar and go into properties | start menu | and select classic start menu

hope this helps! :)

This is not what I am trying to do. When I go to start, explore, yhen I create a folder on the desktop.
Let me give an example. Lets say one installs 20 programs, 10 of them games, & ten CDR programs ie CloneCD, PlexTools, DLA, CDRWin, etc. Now, when one goes to start, programs there are twenty programs. I want to customize so that : start, programs, games (10 games here). Or start, programs, CDR applications (10 CDR programs show up here). Instead of 20 programs ahen start, programs, I would like to start, programs and I would then see "Games" or "CDR Applications", each of which when highlighted shows 10 programs.
Thanks for the help. I hope someone can tell me how to do this.
In Win 98 one can do it : start, settings, taskbar & settings, start menu prograns, then advanced. From here one can customize what one sees under "programs".
I would like this to happen under WinXP and not the classic version.

Thanks. What you have suggested works so that I am partially able to accomplish what I wanted to do. However when I go to start, all programs, right click explore all users, the folder start menu & programs do not show all the programs that show up when one goes to start, all programs. Is there a way to see all of the programs so that I can customize them?
Thanks
