---------------How to measure Sq. Feet of a room?

thatsright

Diamond Member
Getting a AC, but would like to know the SQ ft. of the room it will be going in. How do I calculate this?

Its 14'L 10'w 8'High.

Thanks

---------------------------------------------------------------- length of floor X width of floor.

Idiot.

I have a better idea. Buy a whole bunch of 12" by 12" tiles and lay them down on the floor. When all the space is filled up, count the number of tiles and that's your answer.

AND, if it's actually volume that you need, then notice that each of those boxes is 2 inches tall. 6 boxes stacked on top of each other = 1 cubic foot.

So, completely fill the room with boxes of 1 foot tiles, then divide the number of boxes by 6.

Seriously, was your post a joke? Otherwise, you have just proven yourself to be the biggest idiot in these forums.
