How to make new friends, ICQ?

well wanted to get some tips from you guys, does anyone know any ICQs for people in east texas? So after chatting for awhile we could get together to meet up or something like that.. i dun know how you do it but i'm here to learn.

ICQ has a installed search engine that you can use. MIRC might have some Texas-type channels. Good luck...or something.

I don't recomend just adding people to your list and suddenly talking to them. It tends to annoy the hell out of people. Just hang out around some message boards or whatever and it will just happen.

Agreed, it annoys the hell out of me when people just randommly message me and what to talk.

To make friends I have a failproof plan.

Step 1: Turn off computer.
Step 2: Go somewhere you like to hang out.
Step 3: Be yourself.

Yeah... I really hate people just adding me to their ICQ lists when I don't even know them at all. I have enough people already!

But yes, the 'White Pages' feature in ICQ should help you do what you want...
