How to make my monitor stop whistling?

Sometime yesterday morning my monitor started making this whistling sound and hasn't stop since.

Eventually this is gonna drive me nuts.

Anyone know how to make it stop?

A little more info would be nice.

I have a relatively new Samsung 950P 19" that occasionally makes a high pitch noise.
To stop it, I swivel it to another position.

there are few different ways to get rid of the sound.
changing monitor's frequency will usually do the job... that's the cheap way.

better way would be to get a USP that has voltage cleaner.

you can download programs like powerstrip and raise frequency of your monitor by 5hz or so... which will get rid of the noise. try that.
