Ok, I'm not stupid, normally I would know how to do it. My problem is way more complex.
My girlfriend is chinese and 2 weeks ago she installed QQ2000 ( a chinese ICQ ) and Tencent IE ( chinese IE ). She did this while I wasn't home and she doesn't know a thing about computer. I don't know how she did this, but Tencent IE was then my default browser for only 2 things. My shortcut buttons on my MS multimedia KB and browser who opens when you have to open an url in a game ( lately creating a account for Raven shield for exemple ). For the rest, IE was still The default browser and that's my problem. IE still thinks he's the default.
All my windows options say so.
Ok, I've uninstalled her tencent IE and reinstalled IE. But now..when i need to use those 2 things..nothing happen. If I reinstall Tencent...nothing...
So I'm asking if there a way to REALLY be sure IE is THE ONE windows will use.
Maybe a registery key to change..something like...I dont want to reinstall windows.
BTW...I'm on winXP fr with SP1
Anyone?
