Anyone know where I can get the files to make a ghost boot CD without access to a floppy drive? I found one method from bootdisk.com, but it seemed overly complicated, requiring an install of a specific burning software. All I really want is a download of the needed files so I don't have to go scratching all over my system folders for them (and likely missing one or two along the way).

I'm running Nero 5.5 and ghost 7.0 FWIW.

you'll need the bootsector from a bootable floppy (use google to find one, or grab a bootable floppy from bootdisk and extract the bootsector yourself) then use nero to make a bootable cd. it will want the location of the bootsector that you downloaded/extraced, then add the files you want on the cd to the compilation.

this will use boot floppy emulation....

Need4Speed's instructions are correct, as that's what i do/did to make boot cds (with Ghost, Win98se commands, my backup files, etc).

if you want, i can email you my custom IMG file that allows you to boot to DOS, then simply type "ghost" to start Ghost (i use 2003, so i don't know if 7.0 is different or not). also, my boot disk can read NTFS files, so it works great for WinXP/NT machines, unlike the more common Win9x boot disks. i think i actually got my original IMG file from Bootdisk.com and then modified it a little with some BAT files and the like.
